Spin Your Wheels To SUCCESS!

Have you ever gotten caught on a slippery road and felt the wheels under you spinning and going nowhere?
Well, you don't really need to be in a car to know what I'm talking about because this scene has been played out metaphorically many times as well.
It's the feeling of not getting to your destination and it's an unpleasant result... Spinning your wheels is being out of control and getting nowhere while trying to get somewhere.
And when you apply this to reaching success it's not only frustrating, but it can also crush your spirit to move on and upward.
But let me tell you a secret of success that is in every revolution of a spinning wheel. This is something that is difficult to see while you are trying to navigate toward success.
It's like a thick fog or night blindness and it wants to throw you off course so you lose your way. It's a false/positive state of mind that wants to lead you down the wrong road to failure where you may easily think it's time to give up. After all it's quite easy to stop the engine and park it...
BUT... wait a minute... What if all the while your wheels were turning you were moving toward success little by little and didn't realize it? What if you were moving in revolutions that didn't feel like you were moving at all but you really were?...
And what if you didn't stop your wheels from spinning BUT kept them going in that same very direction you set out on?... Well this is the road to success, my friend, and YOU are on it...
At first being on the road to success may feel like you are going nowhere... This is where the weak give up and move to something else many times repeating the scenario over and over never getting anywhere.
They just think they are spinning their wheels and give up way too early. But if you have a goal you want to accomplish... something you really feel strong and dedicated about - don't yield to the false/positive feelings of failure.
Why? Because the feelings of failure WILL come greet you... That you can be sure of. But pay no mind to failure because it's not a reality unless you accept it. Many times it's only the fear of failure - so just ignore it.
These feelings are just part of the journey leading to your success. However, if you keep on driving toward your goal without taking your eyes off of the road, but stay put even when things look, feel and taste like a losing battle... Your reward for riding through the storm is SUCCESS.
And yes it's been there the whole time... but this destination does not come easy to those that give up.
Remember this...
When it looks like nothing is happening... look again, give it time and even more time... Then when you have stayed the course your journey requires... that's when success is right around the corner.
Therefore, one of the real secrets of success is when it doesn't seem like success... it can still very much be you are on a successful journey leading right to it.

Most Internet service providers have a bandwidth limit. Even if they advertise unlimited Internet, there is usually some level of transfer that will red flag in their system and cause them to take action. This is usually in the form of calling you to up-sell their service or, in extreme situations, cutting off your service.
Most people will never run into this problem. ISPs can advertise unlimited data because the soft cap (this is the bandwidth limit) is so ridiculously high that a user would have to try pretty hard to hit it. Most users can go about their business without ever coming even remotely close to the limit.
So why impose limits? From a consumer standpoint, many feel cheated by the fact that they are not really getting unlimited service when they’re paying for "unlimited service." But this is more to protect an ISP or WISPs customer base than anything else, after all - they don’t make more money by cutting off people’s service.
How does a bandwidth cap improve customer experience? The simple answer is that ISPs can ensure that they do not oversell their bandwidth.
So what’s the big deal with bandwidth getting oversold? As an ISP or WISP operator, you want to ensure that you are providing good service for your customers. Unfortunately your pipe is only so big, so it has to be shared between your customers. Giving one customer access to the whole pipe means that he could use all the bandwidth available and leave all the other customers with slow or no service.
So you give each customer a fraction of the pipe. Bandwidth is sold by calculating the average load per customer so you can sell to the most customers while still providing good service. If all those customers get on and try to download a bunch of data at the same exact time, you will run into problems because the bandwidth is sold to accommodate average usage.
So if one customer is maxing out his portion of the pipe most of the time by downloading huge amounts of data, it is more likely that other customers are going to run into problems. The line needs to be shared, and one person hogging up the line is going to cause unhappy customers and possibly people dropping their service. It is better to cut off the "trouble maker" and keep your customers who aren't causing problems.
With properly allocated bandwidth resources, you should never be running into problems. Everyone will have great service and will be happy.
Sometimes an ISP or WISP will want to sell service plans by bandwidth. This is different from unlimited plans because instead of a soft cap you have a hard cap. This may be set anywhere from a couple gigabytes a month an up, depending on several factors like the size of the service provider’s pipe. When a customer reaches their limit - say 2GB - their service is simply cut off, or they are redirected to a page telling them they need to upgrade their plan. This is the best solution for Wireless ISPs who don’t necessarily have the capacity to give unlimited transfer to everyone on their network.
Sometime these hard-cap plans are better for consumers because they know exactly what to expect. Having an unlimited plan cut off from over usage can come as a surprise to a customer, but if you have a 2GB plan and you’re cut off after 2GB, you won’t be surprised at all.
These plans are also better for environments where your average user is a light to medium Internet user. Someone who checks their email every day, browses around for a few hours a week, and doesn’t download a lot of media will probably be fine with a plan that gives them a couple of gigabytes.
Bandwidth limits help to ensure high quality service on a shared line. If you are an extremely heavy user, you should expect to pay more for your service - after all - you’re using more than most people on the network.

DVD Upconversion Technology Provides Alternatives to Warring Formats

High Definition DVD's have gotten a lot of press lately- some of it positive and some of it not so positive. That's because they offer a great way to enjoy a movie theater experience in your own home with recently released movies.
Having said that, High Definition DVD's have some major problems these days. These problems aren't so much bugs in the high def DVD players or the discs themselves- though those have been exposed too. The real problem with using them to get HDTV in your home theater system is that there are currently two incompatible formats on the market and it's not yet completely clear which format will come out on top in the format war between the two.
The formats are HD-DVD which was created by Toshiba, and Blu-ray which was created by Sony.
They have some technical differences- which would tend to make Blu-ray look like the better choice- but for the average user, the two formats are pretty much interchangeable. While Blu-ray has some technical advantages in terms of superior data storage capacity (which is great for computer applications) HD-DVD has the advantage of offering much cheaper players for its discs.
Right now HD-DVD players cost between three and five hundred dollars, while the minimum that you can get a Blu-ray player for is about five hundred dollars and many of them are up around eight or nine hundred. That said, there are a number of indications that Blu-ray may be the preferred format among consumers.
There is one option for enjoying movies in HDTV that many people don't think that much about. It's now possible to get devices that play standard DVD's and upconvert them to resolutions that are very similar to HDTV. Basically, normal DVD's produce pictures with resolutions of 480p which means that the picture is made up of 480 horizontal lines that are scanned onto the screen progressively. (Progressive scanning is generally considered superior to interlace scanning which is indicated by an "i" after the number.) HDTV pictures have resolutions of 720p, 1080i, or 1080p. 1080p isn't widely available on HDTV channels, but can be produced from Blu-ray discs and HD-DVD.
In general, it's possible to get a DVD player that will upconvert standard DVD's to resolutions of 720p or 1080i. This process takes place essentially by using special software that's built into the DVD players to fill in the missing details of the pictures that come from the standard definition DVD's. Extra pixels are added to the images with the result of richer colors and a sharper picture in general.
Now there are DVD players that can bump the resolution all the way up to 1080p. One of the major complaints about these players though it that they don't produce the full HDTV experience. Some consumer electronics enthusiasts say that the supposed 1080p picture produced by these players is only about half way between the quality of a normal DVD picture and that of a real 1080p picture. This is to be expected considering that adding pixels isn't the same thing as adding the pores on an actor's face or other details like that. However, considering the fact that this type of DVD player costs substantially less than a high def DVD player- and isn't in imminent danger of becoming obsolete- it may be a good choice for many consumers.

Some service packages would comprise news and talk channels. Among the proponents of the merger proposal between the two firms is the National
Association of Broadcasters and Consumers Union of the United States Inc.

The binding, the pages, whether dog-eared or torn, or God forbid, missing. The pages may have notes written on them. (Which can often be valuable in themselves if penned by a famous person or under unusual circumstances) or they may be damaged or stained or any number of factors which will affect their desirability. In the same way if a book is signed by it's author this usually increases it's price, although in the modern world not necessarily as "book signings" are all too common as a marketing tool and have helped to downplay the importance of a signed edition. All of these factors contribute to the overall value of your antique book.
The overall availability is a factor in price but is not necessarily the main factor as a book may be hard to find but not desirable. In other words it may be rare but nobody wants it! Confusing? Yes it can be. It is prudent to consult a dealer to appraise your antique book whether for insurance purposes or because you are attempting to sell it. In the final analysis, antiques are always only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.

And by reducing the size of the picture, the time will be lessened to send it, so a good size is 3x5 or 4x6 in the Image Size. Click Ok, then Save As - giving the picture a new file name, saving it under JPEG. This saves the original photo for future use. Once you open the email program, attach the photo, so remember where you saved it.

Some of that depends on what you need. Are you after the best channel selection, the best reception, the best combination of the two? Do you want high speed internet? How fast? Do you want to combine all your services into a single package or is getting bills from multiple companies just fine.
Which one works best for you depends on where you live too. Different areas will get different cable packages. Many channels will be available nationwide, of course, just as your local channels will generally only be available locally. These days you should easily be able to get your local channels on both cable and satellite, so this is rarely a consideration.
Your need for digital reception and/or HDTV also matters. If you want these features, take a look at what you can get with the companies you are considering.
The number of televisions you want to watch shows on makes a difference too. This often increases with satellite television, but may not with cable. However, if you get digital or HDTV service you may need more receivers even with cable.

In addition, if you're interested in widescreen projection, there are some cameras specifically designed for capturing images in the elongated 16:9 aspect ratio. These considerations are critical to your success with video-to-film projects, so carefully examine any prospective camcorder for the appropriate features and consult a film transfer facility to see what they recommend.
Another type of cameras which are a great help in transferring to film stock are 24P cameras. 24P refers to those cameras which have a frame rate of 24 frames per second, equivalent to the frame rate of a film stock. It is an ideal aspect ratio for video projects that will eventually be transferred to film, because it doesn't necessitate dropping frames when converting formats. Pioneered by Sony, and now available from several makers, this technology has the ability to record 40 minutes of HD footage on a compact $70 cassette (compared to the $400 for 4-minutes of 35mm motion picture film, with processing costs).
